Recording Wastage

Wastage lets you record stock that has been spoiled, damaged, or otherwise lost during an event. You can record wastage, review your own entries, and view a wastage report from the mobile app.

Recording Wastage

  1. Open the Wastage screen and tap Create.
  2. Select an outlet — where the wastage occurred.
  3. Add products — for each item, choose the product and size, enter a quantity, and pick a reason.
  4. Add more rows if you need to record several products at once.
  5. Tap Submit to record the wastage.

You only see products for your current event.

Offline Support

If you lose connection while submitting, the entry is queued on your device and syncs automatically once you're back online. Queued entries show a pending indicator until they've been sent.

Viewing Your Entries

The wastage list shows the entries you've recorded, each with its status:

  • Pending — recorded and awaiting processing.
  • Completed — processed.

Tap any entry to see its full details.

Wastage Report

The wastage report summarises wastage across the venue. Filter by status, reason, and date range to narrow the results.

The report highlights totals along with breakdowns such as the top wasted product and the outlet with the most wastage, so you can spot patterns quickly.

Tips

  • Record wastage as it happens so quantities stay accurate.
  • Always pick the closest reason — it drives the breakdowns in the report.
